The wise old owl

There once lived a wise old owl who lived in a oak
The more he heard the less he spoke
the less he spoke the more he heard
why can't we all be like that wise old bird

Waikato schools triathlon

On the 18th of march five teams of three went to lake Karopiro to compete in the Waikato schools triathlon. when we got there we unpacked all our stuff while two of the parents went to registrar. When they came back with our numbers we moved our stuff up near the main tent and waited for our races to start. First the yr 5 and yr 6 went  then it was time for all our races all the yr 7 and yr 8 teams raced together mixed, girls and boys, first the swimmers swam 1500 meters in the lake then they ran up to the bikers and tagged, them as soon as the  biker has been tagged they run to the bike stands get there bike from the bike rack and then ride 8 km. Next the bikers tag the runner and its there job to finish the race with the 1.5 km run. The runners run half of it on a footpath and the other half on the grass to end the race they run down a big hill and past the finish line. After everyone had finished there races we all went for a nice swim till prizing giving. At prize giving three of TAI teams got medals Toby, Tait and Sarah got first Evon, Max and Kelan got second and Mya, Mikaela and I ( Rain ) got third. After prize giving we all went for one more swim then went back to school to show the school our medals.

Egypt

Egypt

Egypt is a country in the middle east near Jordan its capital is Cairo. It has many tourist attractions such as the pyramids, tombs, the Egyptian museum, and the history.

The pyramids
A pyramid is a triangler step structure use as a tomb for some royals, first they mummify the dead body then put them in a special coffin with clothes, food and treasure for the after life.

The Egyptians had many gods such as RA ( the sun god), the blue scarab, jackals and many more.
I have always been interested in their history for a very long time.
